Sourdough Rye with Roasted Onions

We start out with eleven pounds of onions (a mix of yellow and red onions, enough for a batch of ten loaves) and slow roast them.
Sweet carmelized onion flavor with large pieces of roasted onion throughout! Made with Stony Croft Farms llc's Pumpernickel (Rye) Flour grown near Lapeer Michigan. Stony Croft Farms grinds fresh to order on their old fashioned wooden mill!
Long fermented and made without any added sugars, preservatives dairy or eggs. Great for toasting or grilling, think grilled cheese! Freezes great! Most of our customers pre-slice and freeze (no special freezer bag just the bag it comes in!) then take it out and toast it! Vegan and non-gmo.
