About

We are a bakery specializing in sourdough breads. Founded in 2011 started under the cottage food law and received our commercial license in 2018. Our current Sourdough flavors include Regular, Whole Wheat, Rye with Caraway, Rye with Roasted Onion and Multi-Grain. We started out selling our breads at the Port Austin Farmers Market , but also attend The Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market and The Greenfield Village Farmers Market during their Fall Flavors Weekends.

Non Gmo

We use a long ferment to get as much flavor out of our bread as possible. We buy locally grown organic Wheat and Rye flours from Stonycroft Farms llc located near Lapeer MI and Ferris Organic Farms in located near Eaton Rapids Mi. Our vegan breads are made without any dairy, eggs, added sugars or preservatives.

Born at Mount Clemens General Hospital, Mt.Clemens Michigan and grew up near Utica Michigan. Studied Art, Drafting and Culinary (graduated 2011 with a Culinary Arts and General Studies Degree) at Macomb Community College. Founded Fostoria Bread Factory Spring of 2011. Currently residing near Fostoria Michigan with my Wife and two sons. I also work in the automotive field as a CAD Designer for the MorrellGroup (15 years) near Auburn Hills Michigan (an Automotive Focused Company).
