About
Conservation Coffee is affiliated with the Cloud Forest Conservation Initiative, which is the main program of Conservation Imaging. See www.forestprimeval.org. We are engaged in sustainable development and biodiversity conservation in Guatemala. Conservation Coffee is a home-grown startup endeavor that donates to Conservation Imaging--a 501c3 nonprofit to support our work with small villages and farmers in Guatemala.

Production Practices
There are several aspects of our coffee that are unique to us. These include:
1. The product is locally roasted and packaged on short-notice. It's all about freshness!
2. Our farmers market coffee is USDA Organic-certified.
3. Purchasing our coffee endorses and supports our work conserving rural, largely indigenous communities as we help them to conserve the virgin tropical cloud forest (essentially mountain rainforest) that they depend on for clean water.
4. This project goes to support the establishment of agro-forestry projects at several communities that diversify the economies of local villagers. These include native tree nurseries, macadamia nut tree plantations, and others.
