Hi there! My name is Ais and I run an Etsy account called Art by Ais.

Ever since I was a little kid, I've always been very crafty. I also came from a big family, being 1 out of 6 total brothers & sisters. So.. there were a lot of birthdays to celebrate. I started my artistic journey by making my siblings birthday cards, more specifically, drawing their favorite cartoon characters on them. My family started realizing "hey, she's pretty good," and I've been doing cartoon art ever since.

Now I specialize in perler bead earrings/keychains, canvas paintings, painted planter pots, and prints! I tend to create art based off of cartoons, video games, or anime, but I do venture out here or there as well. I do commissions if buyers have something specific they'd like, so that's what typically steps me out of my typical comfort zone.

I really enjoy what I do and I'd love to share my art with more people in the Kalamazoo area! I have lived in Kalamazoo my whole life and I truly appreciate the strong approach it has towards supporting local businesses and appreciating different art forms. I've gone to the Kalamazoo farmers market since I was young and it's always been a dream of mine to have my own booth there one day.
