About

Jeanie Wild, Bio individual Nutritional Therapist, Esthetician, Herbalist and one of the first CT Master Gardeners, along with a few more mentionables is the owner of Blessed Creek Soaps and Salves. She is a lover of all things natural and an obsessive seemingly tireless mad scientist. She has been making soap since the 70’s when it was crudely created from wood ashes and rendered lard before it evolved into today’s designer oils and readymade lye. She is passionate about keeping safe environments both inside and outside the body not only for herself, 4 children and 12 grandchildren, but anyone who will cooperate with her.
Anything you apply to your skin goes directly into your bloodstream, and she is passionate about spreading information about just that via her products through farmer’s markets, shows, speaking engagements and in the classroom. She has created several formulas of very popular healing balms which work from the skin to bone and are made with local when possible, always ethically harvested and organically grown herbs held together with local beeswax.
Her products range from bar soap, hand soaps, balms, salves, butters, scrubs, laundry care, household cleaning, room sprays, talc free powders and more. Her latest creations and one of the most welcomed by both women and men is her facial care line which consists of some pretty darn good products that do make a difference. That line came about after she enrolled in school at 60 years young into Asnuntuck’s Advanced Esthetician course to study the integumentary system and learn more about skin and what it needs to be healthy.
She has been featured twice in Go Local magazine, the Hartford Courant, Journal Enquirer, and Suffield Observer. She speaks at woman’s groups, teaches classes at Asnuntuck, her Suffield studio, Creative Girl Studio, and in-home gatherings.
She can be reached through Facebook and BlessedCreek.com
