Iowa Made produces and sells dozens of varieties of homemade small batch jams, pickles and relishes to Iowans from our family home and to the public at vendor shows across the state. We also sell nationally via our Etsy store. Since 2014 I have co-run this business with my mother, but she passed away in December 2022. When I was growing up my mother had a stall at the old CR Cedar Rapids Farmers' Market - she was even featured in the Gazette as one point for a vendor spotlight. It would be an honour to her legacy to be accepted as a vendor into the 2023 Cedar Rapids Famers' Market. We either grow our own or source directly all of the ingredients (organic wherever possible) from local producers. We have a loyal customer base who give us fantastic reviews for our super flavourful jams, pickles and relishes, and I know that we'd be an asset to the 2023 Cedar Rapids Farmers' Market. There are 6 siblings, 3 of us girls. Elise is the 5th of 6 children, and she is the most involved with Iowa Made. She's super passionate about cooking, and is always coming up with new recipes. Elise is very personable, bubbly, energetic and really great with the public. She will be the one setting up and managing the stall should we be accepted.
AlexSa is the youngest daughter, and she's more comfortable in the garden than at a vendor show. She works behind the scenes planting, weeding and harvesting produce.
I'm Saasha, the oldest, and I take care of the administrative duties such as applications, insurance, finance etc.
