Mauch Family Farm

Our over 600 acre farm has been in operation in some capacity since being homesteaded in 1896. Charlie & Stacey Mauch along with our 3 boys run our farm full time. Our goal is to provide locally grown fresh food to our family, friends and neighbors. However, we hope we are so much more! We grow a large variety of products. We have a large flock of chickens who are producing lots of eggs at the moment. We raise pigs for pork. We also have cattle, do custom hay baling, grow our own feed for all of our animals, grow pumpkins and mums and continue to expand what we offer every year. If we are selling it, we grew it ourselves right here on our farm.
We have participated in other farmers markets in the area and are just attempting to expand our reach. We currently have 3 hoop houses and a greenhouse. We grow our most valuable and sensitive crops in our hoop houses and much of our other produce in the field. We do some plasti-culture to help with weed control. We are not certified organic however we do practice sustainable agriculture and safe handling food practices throughout our farm. We grow all of our plants from high quality seeds. We will have plants for sale this spring. Currently we are focusing on getting ready for the spring season! In the spring and summer months our most valuable crop are our tomatoes! We strive to have the best tomatoes every year and have had great success. Some of our other items this year will include lettuces, herbs, radishes, beets, jalapenos, sweet peppers, bell peppers, cucumbers, okra, watermelon, cantaloupe, corn and much more. During this time of the year we have available for sale our pork and eggs. Our chickens are pastured, free range and are currently moved every few days to new wheat pasture. They get an additional diet of grain from items grown right here on our farm. They are very pampered ladies! We have a mixture of Barred Rock and Red Star chickens. We have a current license to sell eggs in the state of Oklahoma. Pork is a newer addition to our farm. In the past, Mauch Family Farm was a very large producer of pork in the area. We are trying to get back to some of those older traditions. We have chosen to have a mixture of Large Black and Red Wattle pig breeds. We pasture raise our pigs and supplement with high quality grain and feed that we grow right here on our farm. Our pigs have a very happy life while living here on our farm. We are raising our sows to produce piglets that will eventually be our pork stock. We currently have a few select cuts of pork available. Our pork is butchered and packaged at an Oklahoma inspected and approved butcher.
