About

Lola Farms is a woman owned farm located in Lake Butler, Florida. We purchased our first 2 Gloucestershire Old Spot hogs in 2013 and began an unknowing journey to raising high quality heritage pork on a larger scale than we initially envisioned. Raising rare heritage breeds gave us an opportunity to do something good for an endangered breed while producing some of the best pork available. We also raise Meishans, a rare Chinese breed and will be offering limited Meishan pork, as well as a cross between the GOS & Meishan which we call Me-Spots. All of our animals are raised on pasture and supplemented with high quality NON-GMO grains. Our goal is to produce healthy and happy animals which in turn, will produce healthy meats raised the way nature intended.

Production Practices

Non Gmo Antibiotic And Hormone Free Pastured Free Range

Our animals are raised on pasture and supplemented with high quality non-gmo grains. Our chickens are harvested and packaged on farm by us. Our hogs are harvested under USDA inspection and we take the primal cuts into our co-op certifed kitchen in Gainesville to breakdown and package our pork by hand. This allows us to have much more control on how our product is presented to our customers. We hand mix our sausages as well.
