About

St Vincent de Paul of South Pinellas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit who helps all members of our local community fight and prevent poverty. Our community store collects donated goods such as clothes, housewares, furniture and redistributes them to residents in South Pinellas per vouchers issued by our 12 local conferences who process applicants and assess their needs. Surplus items are sold in our thrift store to help fund this and other programs. This means we can help an abused woman and her children by providing temporary housing while we find a more permanent solution or we deliver free furniture and clothes to a tornado victim who doesn't have insurance. You dont have to be homeless to receive help from us - we fight to prevent it. Race, color, religion or sexual orientation are not factors to us. Making tragedy or poverty a temporary situation, as opposed to new lifestyle is what matters.

Production Practices
