Description
A very low maintenance perennial vegetable that makes a great addition to your edible forest garden. Leaves can be harvested and cooked throughout the summer. New spring shoots can be harvested and cooked like asparagus. Flowering stalks are eaten like broccoli. Also known as “perennial goosefoot” or “poor man’s asparagus”.
