About
We are a small nursery located on an acre in eastern Henrico County, growing strictly U.S. native--and primarily RVA native--plant species and naturally-occurring varieties. We were founded in autumn 2020 by two native plant nuts, and are excited to begin our first season as a primarily wholesale supplier of locally grown native plants, particularly "the stuff nobody else grows." We aim to grow plants organically, with as few chemicals as possible, as we believe wholeheartedly in trying to incorporate nature and native species in our lives and production processes. Our mission is to increase awareness and availability of our vast and under-appreciated diversity of native plant species.

Production Practices
Use Only Organic Materials Non Gmo Perennial Crops
We use as few synthetics as possible, and indeed try to sparingly use even organic fertilizers and pesticides. We also strive to avoid synthetics in our soil mixes. We plan to also utilize captured rainwater to a significant degree. Weeds are pulled by hand, and insecticides are only applied as a last resort. We do not yet plan to seek or claim organic certification, but we do strive to meet these practices when possible.
