Maine Herb Farm is a small locally owned farm in southern Maine bordered by the Great Works River. Our soil is fertile, interval farm land. We incorporate organic and permaculture principles into our farm management practices. We raise free range chickens, heritage turkeys and ducks.

My husband and myself have cultivated our farm for the past 16 years. We have perennial gardens, two greenhouses, a large hugelkultur garden, many garden boxes, several herb gardens and also plant in the field. We have reduced our tillage by incorporating raised beds, green houses and the hugelkultur gardens. Our goal is to plant less in the field. Karen is a certified herbalist who grows and/or harvests sustainably herbs which are used to make herbal products.
