Maiainthemum racemosum

This is a great looking perennial for part shade or in a woodland setting. Long stems look like Solomon's Seal yet the blooms are completely different. Maianthemum has showy, astilbe-like plumes with a rosy aroma. Red berries appear in late summer to treat the birds. Spreads slowly by rhizome.
