We run a small, fifth generation regenerative farm and ranch located between Lawton, Oklahoma, and Wichita Falls, Texas. We raise premium quality, whole, healthy, slow-grown and delicious food by rethinking commercial practices, and returning to a heritage style of farming. We think our products can renew our bodies and in the process redeem the land they were raised on. We provide local families with peace of mind that the products on their tables are the best, and healthiest they can get.

We’re Zach and Kacie Scherler-Abney. We connected while we were both working for nonprofits based in Uganda, and we got married a short ten months later. Kacie grew up on a ranch in SW Oklahoma where her family has farmed the same ground for over 100 years, and then moved to California with no plans to return to the farm. Zach grew up in Uganda before moving to Portland, and then Arkansas, with no experience or interest in farming pre-meeting Kacie :). After getting married in 2018, we decided to fix up a house on Kacie’s family farm, and you could say, the rest is history.
Right after we got married, Kacie was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. In a desperate attempt to heal, Kacie started the Autoimmune Protocol diet, and we immediately noticed a difference in her health, and haven’t looked back since! Clean protein is of utmost importance on her diet, and unfortunately we couldn’t find anything that met our standards locally. So, we decided to raise what we needed ourselves!
