Stone Dipped Ceramics
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
I have been playing with mud since I was a child. You could always find me at the creek making mud creations with the mud/clay I would find in the water.
I officially started my ceramics journey at West Chester University. Although I was an Accounting Major I could never get away from my love of art. I ended up with a studio art minor focusing in ceramics.
I have a love for functional and symmetrical work so I tend to do most of my work on a ceramic wheel. I truly love experimenting and finding new techniques. I tend to stick to high fire clay bodies and glazes because of the beautiful glaze reactions. During college I worked with my professor to research different clay recipes and we discovered many self glazing low fire porcelain recipes.
I hope to continue my ceramics journey and continue to redefine my own personal process.
