South Dominion Dionne Red

Our vintner's reserve, the Dionne Red is a special blend of our very first vintage. This inky dark red wine is layered with rich red and black fruit intensity, that give way to smoky and earthy (shale) aromas. The palate brings baked berry flavors boosted by vanilla, butterscotch and allspice. The French oak cuts through the traditional Franco-American grape varietal’s veins of acidity and then gently yeild to tangy current and allspice tones that linger through to the finish.
