Turnips

We have absolutely LOVED experimenting with turnip root this fall. Our favorite application has been in soups and sautés to bring out the natural nutty sweetness! We pick our turnips at a medium to small phase of growth for optimal flavor and functionality (no peeling required!). And, of course, we go with purple top turnips because who wouldn't want the best?
