I am a self-taught maker, and have been running Downstairs Designs from my basement for over 15 years. I began with simple but practical things for babies and children, and over the years have evolved in designs and skills. As I have never done well with reading commercial patterns, most items I make I also design myself as well. I have a full range of high end fabrics from around the world, and make Practical Indulgences for you and your home. From backpacks to wallets to fanny packs and more zipper pouches than you can count, I have something for every taste and style and price point. I have been a farmer's market vendor for over 12 years, and I do multiple arts and indie craft fairs around the state each year too. I love taking custom requests- many of my designed evolve from your needs!
