We make hand rolled freshly baked knishes daily and sell them at various Farmers Markets in the Tampa Bay area.
A knish originated in the late 1800's in Eastern Europe and was brought to America in the 1900's. Potato was the main filling and it was wrapped in a simple pastry shell and baked. Based on an old family recipe, the Wachtler Family has been making knishes for almost 15 years. We have updated the original Potato Knish and now sell many different varieties.
