About

I have been polishing gemstones since I was eight years old, that's over 43 years now! I took a life-long hobby and turned it into the business of my dreams!
I am unique in that I actually do each and every step of the processes myself, by hand; let me explain.
I like to go dig up, and "harvest" my own materials whenever possible. If that's not available, I travel to large trade shows to hand pick materials from all over the world.
Once I have my materials, the next step is to then take large chunks of rock and saw a slab from the chunk on a slab saw. The slab is then taken to a trim saw, where I hand- cut out the parts of it that I will work with.
The pieces of stone are then brought to my "cabbing" machine; this is a machine with diamond impregnated grinding wheels of varying abrasions. By hand, I take each stone to each wheel in sequence; shaping, doming, grinding, and smoothing it, while water is sprayed on the wheel I am using.
After getting out all the scratches, the stone can be polished on a leather padded wheel with water and polish compound.
The last step I do is to wire wrap the gem in sterling silver or 14ktgf wire to create unique, artisan jewelry! I work with only quality materials, and while I always have the popular turquoise, amethyst, and well known gems,- I specialize in unique, unusual, rare materials. I also work with fossils, meteorite fragments, teeth, claws, bone, arrowheads, and more!
I have a wide variety of materials, shapes, sizes, and almost every price point! So everyone can find a treasure for themselves, or a gift!
