Horse hair raku is a method of removing pottery from a flaming hot 1900 degree kiln. Once cooled for just a few minutes horse hair is burned on the surface, creating carbon trails from the burned hair. This vase is for decorative purposes. It can be used as a vase if lined with a glass or plastic container to hold the water.
