I am a self-taught traditional artist, working mostly in watercolors, ink and graphite. I've been working toward my dream of doing art full-time for several years and I'm thrilled that I was finally able to make the leap this year!

My work has an ornate, illustrative quality and is often described as being very dreamlike in nature. I enjoy both the softness and randomness of watercolor textures as well as the structure of line-art and well-crafted shapes. Fantastic creatures of all kinds are the most frequent subjects in my current works, but I also enjoy creating whimsical figure portraits and landscapes. I'm currently working on a collection of my drawings for an art book, and planning an illustrated book of short stories and poems to focus on sometime next year.
