Peculiar Cake Truffles

Not quite a truffle but not a cake either, these delicious bites sure are peculiar — in the most wonderful way. Soft moist chocolate or vanilla cake on the inside covered in a deep semi sweet chocolate ganache and finished with just enough pecan crumbles to give it a contrasting crunch, they're the perfect sweet treat but beware: they can be dangerously addictive and most cannot have just one.
