Kiara Artley
Hello! My name is Kiara Artley, and I am the creator of Work of Artley. I grew up on a small farm in Dundas, Minnesota, raising animals, making art, and exploring nature.
In grade school, I learned how to spin yarn and knit which started off my love for the fiber arts. I have since then continued to grow and expand my learning, now possessing the skills to complete the whole sheep to shawl process. One of my ambitions in life is to someday have my own flock of sheep (I absolutely love sheep!) but for now I have a wonderful wool-bearing angora rabbit named Meridian.
In my freshman year of high school, I took my first ever ceramics class. I have continued to take pottery classes ever since then, and now, post-high school, I informally apprentice to a local potter.
With these twin passions of mine, fiber arts and clay, I started my business. My hope is that you will find just as much joy in my products as I do in making them.
