Based on recipes as old as barbecue itself, this sweet, tangy, and savory sauce brings together all the flavors of Virginia barbecue. The secret ingredient in this sauce is mushroom ketchup, a British and colonial precursor to Worcestershire sauce. Made from scratch, Commonwealth contains cider vinegar, brown sugar, tomatoes, mushroom ketchup, onion, salt, xanthan gum, and spices. Served in an 8 oz. container.
