Wings, Worms, and Wonder creates books, nature journal supplies, and hand painted and illustrated decor that inspire humans to connect with nature creatively each day.
Through hand painted watercolor paintings and cards, illustrated hand sewn nature journal pouches and totes, illustrated & hand embossed blank journals, custom illustrated fabrics made into pouches and tea towels, illustrated stickers, and my 4 indie published books that guide human and nature connection through arts and gardening activities (including the award winning signature book Wings, Worms, and Wonder), I aim to bring pops of nature inspiration into the everyday.
Everything I offer is created with independent and sustainable consciousness. Wings, Worms, and Wonder books are enjoyed on 4 continents and I've taught art and gardening workshops on creative nature connection from Florida up to Maine and over to Hawaii.
Wings, Worms, and Wonder, the company, seeks to bring joy to everyday life through a revitalization of our connection to the wonders of nature right out our back doors. Through hand watercolored items and thoughtful guides full of practical tips and activities, I aim to help humans build unshakeable love and connections with their natural world. My goal with this work is a healthy happy people and planet!

Production Practices
I either hand: make, paint, or design all my products. The fabrics are designed by me and printed in NC, my books are all written and illustrated by me and printed in SC, my blank journals are designed by me and hand printed and assembled in MA, and my pouches are sewn and small original watercolor nature paintings and cards are all painted in Neptune Beach, FL.

Kelly Johnson
Kelly Johnson (BFA, AMS 6-9, MA) is an artist, author, Montessorian, nature journaling guide, and children's garden educator living in Neptune Beach, Florida. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, the Florida Institute of Montessori Studies, and Goddard College, she inspires humans to connect with their natural world through the wonder and creativity. Kelly shares her love of art, gardening, and nature through her 3 books, blog, illustrations, garden workshops, and nature art eCourses - all housed within her socially and environmentally responsible little company Wings, Worms, and Wonder.
