Redefined Goods
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
Redefined goods seeks to merge sustainability, style, and functionality. The main product offered is the tote bags, which are handmade out of used denim, clothing, curtains, and other found textiles. The bags can be used in place of single use plastic, or just for everyday life. Other products offered are scrunchies, halter tops, and assorted clothing items - all upcycled from used materials.
Mia Crisostomo
I'm a 20 year old third year student at the University of Florida, double majoring in marketing and sustainability studies. I operate all of Redefined Goods on my own - from manufacturing, to marketing, to selling. I've known how to sew since I was 9, and I've been shopping at thrift stores since I was in middle school. My star product is definitely my tote bags, because I feel like it merges all of these aspects of who I am into an accessible and useful product. The bags are made by me out of old clothes, merging my thrifting and sewing backgrounds. I wanted my products to advocate for a more eco-conscious lifestyle, so my tote bags can be used in place of single use plastic ones at the grocery store. Also, doing all of the online marketing myself allows me to apply what I'm learning in my marketing classes.
