Production Practices

Perennial Crops

We utilize the latest Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies on all our crops. We have a private crop consultant that scouts our entire farm weekly in season looking for pest and disease problems. Based on this consultation and generally accepted economic injury thresholds, we only take corrective actions when insects or diseases are present and causing significant damage. We take food safety very seriously on our farm and are USDA GAP/GHP (Harmonized) certified. This is an advanced food safety certification that we renew annually.
