I started this business in 2013 at a local Farmers Market (Fairfax County, VA) sharing my culture and how empanadas mean friends, family, and fun in my home town Mendoza, Argentina. I have done this market since then selling more that 400 empanadas every Saturday (not with our food truck but with a tent set up)
Two years later my husband and I bought a food truck, and committed to serve the most fresh and delicious hand made to order empanadas.
We are now buying our own commercial kitchen that its already USDA certified in Rockville, MD so that is why we are applying for this market. We are ready to share our awesome empanadas with our new community in Bethesda and Rockville area.

Im from Mendoza, Argentina. Grew up watching and helping my mom make empanadas every time we had a party or family event. I moved to the US when I was 17 and have been involved in my community ever since then from one way or another. I love people and food. Im very family oriented and our empanadas business is very people and family oriented. I started selling empanadas five years ago because I saw a great opportunity in my community to share about my culture. I loved doing that and I still do until today!
