Hidden Creek Farm is a Certified Organic and Certified Humane conservation farm raising local, wholesome, and good products using rotational grazing, innovative regenerative practices, and holistic farming methods.
HCF is a woman-owned and operated enterprise featuring grass-pastured livestock and eggs, specialty Market Garden produce, and wild honey. We raise threatened heritage Red Poll cattle, Katahdin hair sheep, proprietary Tamalitsa™ forest-raised pigs, heritage and traditional pastured turkeys, and a variety of heritage brown, green, blue and white egg-laying hens.
HCF is also known for its delicious value-add products such as low sugar jams, pepper jellies, pickles, no-fuss bread/cake/cooky mixes, seasonal goods (such as vegetarian mince-meat filling for Holiday pies), yogurt products, naturally fermented products, herbed salt mixes, soups, and baked goods.
HCF enjoys involving customers and the public in our planning, growing, and learning cycles. We offer a number of workshops and events throughout each year for beginner to advanced participants. We are also happy to design personalized events and visits to meet customer needs.
HCF is located 50 minutes from Washington, D.C. and within a few minutes of some of the top vineyards, restaurants, parks, and attractions in the area. Customers can book overnight or weekly/monthly farm stays in either one of two pet and child-friendly renovated log cabins, or in an apartment style 'loft'.
