About
Missy and Mark Smits have lived in Coppell since 1992. All four of their kids have graduated from Coppell HS - 3 of the 4 kids followed mom and dad and attend Texas A&M University. After retirement from Corporate America, Mark and Missy planted a vineyard in Milano Texas in 2017. We've been making wine since 2020. We are now ready to sell our wines commercially. Descarado Wines has all the required TABC permits to be able to sell wine in an open market.

Mark is an army veteran, worked as a corporate vice president for 3 different health care companies. He and his wife Missy have lived in Coppell since 1992. Mark has tended his vineyard since 2017 and has been making wine since 2020. His white Blanc du Bois wone 5 different gold medals in various competitions.
