About

I make artisan handmade gelato and sorbetto from scratch using ingredients directly sourced from local and US small farms. This means we can make unique and delicious flavors. We Do Not use any canned or prepared ingredients. We can serve a refreshing and classic Strawberry sorbetto using the freshest strawberries from SweetLife Farms in Plant City, lemon sorbetto using lemons from Mixon Fruit Farms in Bradenton or a Traditional Pistachio Gelato using fresh pistachios sources from Fiddyment Farms in CA. We serve gelato from an old vintage cart/bike that was handmade in Italy.

I recently returned from Italy where I learned and made authentic artisan Italian gelato and Sorbetto from scratch using old world techniques. Carpiganni, the world biggest company in regards to gelato, sponsored me to participate in the first American Gelato Festival in Santa Barbara California to showcase the true artisan Italian gelato.

I am first generation Italian American, an Air Force veteran, and a former counterintelligence agent in the Air Force office of Special Investigations. I feel in love with gelato the first time I went to Italy. I decided to peruse a career as a gelaterie when the strain on my family life was growing due to my routine traveling required from my previous career. I

I now am an accomplished gelato maestro that has learned the art directly from well respected chefs in Bologna Italy. I only make my bases and flavors from scratch using the techniques learned from Chef Stefano Tarquinio.
