Bake European artisian type breads and started selling because friends were asking if they could purchase them. I started baking that type of bread because I could and still can not get it anywhere in Alabama. I am German and have lived in Tuscaloosa for over 20 years with my American wife and daughter.
Bread without any additives, but only basic ingredients. So besides flour, water, salt and yeast at this point nothing else is used. Changes in texture, taste, crust etc. are simply or not so simply achieved by manipulating the process, which is where the true art or Artisian comes in.
