Badass Baubles and Things specializes in hand stamped jewelry. The Baubles are empowering with a wee bit of sass! Playing on the power of words for self expression and fashion. The necklaces are dainty and the word stamped on each bar is meant for the wearer. The self expression continues on the metal cuffs. With more room comes more sass. Declaration of BadAss, Warrior and Fuck are a few fan favorites! BadAss Baubles truly believes in making our planet a better place with the use of upcycled materials(I hit up other vendors for their scraps), recycled materials, and vintage materials not to mention all the good vibes! With the use of vintage leather, semiprecious gems, and metal trinkets the softer side of BadAss Baubles was born. Lovely Baubles and expressing themselves without the use of words. Also upcylcled home goods and accessories.

Production Practices
The Baubles are handmade. All handstamping is done one letter at a time... and if you are sassier than me it is extra awesome because this allows me to custom make sweet Baubles just for you. Metals used are Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Sterling Silver, Gold Filled, Gold, pewter, and Stainless Steel. I do try to use as much upcycled materials as much as possible. The Baubles are lucky enough to have made friends with some awesome vendors that I can buy or trade for scrap materials. For example, a copper sculpture friend and I often trade jewelry for her scraps of copper, which I covet like any good hoarder. Cold connections (like riveting) and heat connections are used in the metal work.... sodering sterling silver onto copper is my favorite!! Dapping and cutting out my own shapes helps reduce the stress in my house... the neighbors don't love all the hammering but for the love of art they accept it.

The Baubles are a team of one. Lori created the Co. in Feb 2017. As a long time dabbler in jewelry making for fun, she has been fortunate to have a skill that created a new direction when shit hit the fan. Her long career as a massage therapist hit a dramatic switch when she relocated to St Pete from NYC. Shit got real when she packed up her office after finding out the owners were less than ethical. Now what. Well that HOBBY saved her ass and she has been so grateful for all the support for her little growing jewelry business.
