Good agricultural practice (GAP) are specific methods which, when applied to agriculture, create food for consumers that is safe and wholesome. With Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practices (GHP) farmers voluntary comply with audits that verify that fruits and vegetables are produced, packed, handled, and stored as safe.
