Honeycomb Henna Art

For the past nine years, I've created henna art at farmers markets, street fairs, birthday parties, and other public and private events such as weddings and maternity blessings. A veteran of the Forest Grove Farmers Market (since 2010), I have also had a stand at the Hawthorne Market in SE Portland, as well as the Last Thursday events on Alberta, in NE Portland. It is such a joy to combine several of my passions; creating art, talking with people, and working outside, during the farmers market season. I love the feeling of being part of a vendor community, and seeing both old and new faces at the market each week. Henna is an amazing medium in that it is both natural and temporary, and provides its recipient with a beautiful tattoo whose color changes and is unique to each person.
