After losing his 24 year old daughter to cancer in 2009, owner Bradley Knight wanted a mini memorial for his desk. Not finding one to his liking, Brad starting playing with granite scraps in his garage to make his own memorial. A few years later with lots of trial and error plus some great help from his wife Lori, Expressions On Stone became our business.
Today, with a shop in Marion, Brad and Lori are creating beautiful stone memorials, artwork or any message/ logo etc., hand shaped, engraved then painted stones, using real granite, marble and quartz.

Both Iowans, Brad from Spencer and Lori from Dyersville, they reside in Cedar Rapids.
Lori recently retired from teaching, 34 years as P.E. Teacher at Marion High School.
Brad, a USMC veteran, has been an entrepreneur for 35 years.
