Number 1 Sons is a brother and sister team making barrel fermented foods in Washington DC. Since 2012, they've combined regional ingredients with traditional preservation methods - natural fermentation and Virginia apple cider vinegar - to make timelessly tasty kimchi, pickles, kombucha + more. Their lineup of 20+ products change with the seasons - when they can no longer buy domestically grown pickling cucumbers, they source local daikon radishes for their winter pickles.
