About

Buffalo Creek Lavender started as a vision in 2017. A budding interest in aromatherapy and essential oils, particularly lavender, became a reality on a small farm outside of Lexington in January 2018 when 250 Grosso Lavender plants were ordered.
These lavender plants, only accessible by crossing Buffalo Creek, were planted on the fertile hillside that had been farmed for 2 centuries by our family and used as the summer camping grounds of the Shawnee Tribe centuries earlier.
Lavender is versatile herb used for for aromatherapy, cooking and crafts. We will have bundles of fresh lavender, dried lavender, and barnwood crafts created from the barnwood found on the farm available at the market.
