Sauvie Shrubs is a hyper-local pantry & botanical company based on Sauvie Island. We handpick fresh ingredients, locally grown and foraged from our Island soil. Our seasonal shrubs and fire cider are made with whole fruit/vegetables, are fermented, and cold pressed. We also have a line of zero waste products in which we take the shrub and fire cider mash, dehydrate it and make food products such as fire cider seasoning salt, shrub dusting sugar, shrub jam, shrub fruit leather etc.

I’ve been making shrubs for about 12 years for health and digestive support. I have lived on Sauvie Island for 6 years and started Sauvie Shrubs two years ago. I also founded and manage the Sauvie Farmers Market. It has been a joy to live, grow, and support neighboring farms and businesses both through Sauvie Shrubs and the Farmers Market. I’m very proud to say that the large majority of our ingredients come from the island. Our customers appreciate, the love, locality, seasonality and intention that is put into each special Sauvie shrub flavor and bottle. One of my biggest passions through this business has been building my 75 member strong monthly CSA style Shrub Club! Exclusive seasonal flavors and accompanying recipes are created for members each month. This has allowed me to build and grow community through my products.
