About
Amour Mushrooms is a family owned, gourmet mushroom-growing business based out of Waldorf, MD. We offer lion's mane mushrooms, several varieties of oyster mushroom, reishi mushrooms, and more. All our varieties are grown by us, on location, using loving care and a variety of spawning methods. We also provide grow-your-own kits and different substrate varieties to aid any amateur mushroom aficionado in their cultivation efforts. We have a great passion for everything mushroom and delicious, and seek to share our passion (and the fruits of our labors) with any and all interested!

Production Practices
Antibiotic And Hormone Free
We ensure that organic material used in our cultivation efforts was never processed by any animal fed with antibiotics or treated with hormones. We source our rye mainly from local farmers who grow in small batches without pesticides. Additionally, we personally oversee--on our premises-- the growth of every mushroom we produce, and never expose our mushrooms to any pesticide or hormone during this growth.

Amour Mushrooms is the brainchild of married couple Tony and Rose Black. Tony's beloved hobby of mushroom cultivation quickly fruited into a business when joined with Rose's passion for business and desire to provide a valuable and delicious good to the local community. The business is a labor of love-- Tony and Rose spend every moment thinking about how to widen selection and streamline processes, as well as how to spread awareness of all things fungus to the world at large.
