For as long as I can remember, my mom has always been surrounded by flowers. Some of my earliest memories of her are in her garden in Ohio, pulling weeds from garden beds filled with purple coneflowers. She found beauty in the smallest whisper of baby's breath, which she arranged in wine bottles on the hearth, or in the familiar springtime scent of gardenia- the smell of which will always remind me of her.
From her joy was born this; our flower-child fairytale come to life.
Petite Fleur, little flower- named for the jazz standard, for the smallest blooms, for the petite mother and daughter with blossoming dreams.
