About

I turn wood from fallen trees, I guess you could call it upcycling. These trees would normally be shipped straight to a wood chipper and made into mulch, instead I take them and turn them in to bowls, cutting boards, wine stoppers, bottle openers, vases, etc. I'm coming up with new ideas every day. The wood really shows it's natural beauty when you open it up on the inside.

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I have lived in Florida now for 31 years. I got into turning wood originally in high school shop class and hadn't touched it again until 3 years ago when I met up with a fellow wood worker that helped me reconnect to it. Bought a small lathe and began to turn scrap wood I could find at local brush sites. It began as a hobby, but eventually I had to do something with my work as one can only have so many wooden bowls around the house. As much as I love them and as hard as it is to part with each and every piece, I had to start this business to share my work with others.
