I came to food entrepreneurship after my former career. I was awash in the academic world as the Associate Director of a Writing Center. My job was desk and classroom-bound. I relocated to the mountains of Western NC from the beaches of Florida and decided to make a career change as I wanted to be a work-from-home mother when the time was right. I now have an amazing little girl, a wonderful husband, and a growing business. People often ask why I chose granola. The truth is that I wanted to do it better. To me, granola was always too high in sugar, too full of additives, too little nutrition, and not much flavor. I've spent the last three years writing recipes, baking and gathering customer feedback. We are always striving to improve and create granola and snacks that we are proud to put our name on.
