I am a one woman show! I make all the empanadas and handle all aspects of the business. I went to culinary school in NYC and spent 8 years there working in magazine test kitchens before coming back home to Florida to start my own thing! I'm Puerto Rican and grew up eating sooo many empanadas, Colombian-style, Argentinian, Venezuelan, you name it. I also love Jamaican beef patties and Cornish pasties. I guess you can say handheld doughy pockets are my THING. My empanadas are unique in that they can't be pinpointed to any specific region but rather are an expression of all the things I love to eat combined.
