AMERICAN LEGION POST 360

Organization

About

American Legion Post 360 supports the youth on our mountain by sending students from the high school to Boys State, Girls State, YEC, hold an Oratorical Speech Contest, give out Scholarships to seniors, and we participate with the elementary & middle schools by giving out Citizenship awards.
We are very active in our community as well; we lead the Blue Jay Parade with a color guard made up of veterans from different branches of the service. On Veteran’s Day we honor veterans at the Veterans Monument at Arrowhead Ridge for their service to our country. On Memorial Day we participate in the ceremonies conducted at the San Moritz Lodge. We support the Blue Jay Thrift Shop by donating our time each Sunday.
We support the following organizations. Rim Vets Veterans Outreach Program, California National Guard Unit in San Bernardino, Blue Star Moms, Mountain Fifes & Drums, Homeless Coalition, Operation Provider, and Christmas in April.
We gather once a month for our members to celebrate and have fun over dinner at a restaurant some place between Running Springs and Crestline and everywhere in-between.
If you have questions or want more information about our post, please contact Nicholas Nerio at 909-838-3026 ([email protected]).
