About
We are a small cut flower grower located in western Goochland County. Our farm is 10 acres, but we’re currently growing on about a quarter of an acre, with plans to expand.
This is our first year growing cut flowers for sale, but we are long time gardeners. We’ve been farming for about nine years, our focus primarily being pork beef, and eggs.
Now instead of meat we are growing a diverse mix of hardy and tender annuals to supply the market with beautiful bunches of fresh flowers. We are so excited to add color and joy to the market customer’s day.

Our priority is to grow beautiful flowers that strengthen our farm’s ecosystem and are safe and delightful for our customers.
We strive to work with nature’s systems to create an ecosystem where our plantings are a benefit to the larger farm ecology. We use organic practices, because when we focus on maintaining and enhancing biodiversity, our plants are healthier, and so is everything living on and around our farm. For instance: songbirds eat pest like beetles that will eat our plants; Lady-beetles eat the aphids. When our plants are sown in biologically active soil they are less tasty to insects. Our flowers attract and sustain pollinators and give them more ample food both earlier and later into the season. We are utilizing and facilitating all of the natural systems for the benefit of the whole farm.
When choosing perennial plantings we focus on maintaining habitat, as well as enhancing our bouquets with perennial flowers and foliage.
