Description

we shear our merino sheep in March snd the wool is sent to Zeilingers Woolen mill in Frankenmuth, Michigan to be made into yarn, for socks. the yarn is shipped to northern Minnesota where they are custom made into calf height slouchy socks (or you can roll them into thick ankle socks). It takes a year to grow the wool, a year and a half to process it into socks. So from our farm to your feet, this product took 2 1/2 years to get there! We kettle dye small batches and sometimes create funky multi-colored pairs. There is a limited supply of socks each season, and since it takes so long to process, we recommend buying them when you see them. They literally can be gone by the end of the day! content: 88 % merino wool, 2% spandex and 10% nylon. hand wash, air dry.
