Konowalski's Eggs and Honey
Dealer
My grandparents started selling at Eastern Market in the late 1890s - mostly seasonal vegetables like cabbage and potatoes. My father was born in Detroit, so the sheds were a second home. I was in diapers when I first came to the market!
Konowalski's eggs have been at Eastern Market for over 100 years, and we've sold honey for the last 40. Visit Tuesday Market for eggs, honey, and maple syrup under Shed 2, and on Saturdays, you'll find Konowalski's Eggs and Honey in the same place their stall has been for 65 years - just inside the doors of Shed 3 along Division Street.
