About
We are a business designed to give women who came to the US as refugees opportunities to earn money, learn skills, understand bookkeeping and inventory, learn or improve their English skills and have a safe place to gather.
We use imported fabric to make a variety of fabulous bags, from small passport holders to large tote and beach bags. We also handmake reversible aprons from the same beautifully colored fabric.
We import handmade beads from Africa and design necklaces, bracelets, prayer beads, and earrings.

Production Practices
We use recycled fabric as much as possible for bag linings. We save scraps of the gorgeous African fabrics and make patchwork aprons or smaller bags, bookmarks, etc. These women know the value of materials and use the smallest ones to create something!
